Capitalvue are reporting that China’s Nonferrous Metal Engineering company have secured an enormous contract that is believed to be worth more than CNY 7 billion. The contract will be for the engineering and procurement  of an electrolytic aluminium project and has been accepted from the Iran South Aluminium Corporation.

Nonferrous Metal Engineering will build a specalised electrolytic aluminium factory that will be able to contain an annual capacity of 276,000 tonnes. They will also create a seperate carbon anode factory that will have a capacity of 150,000 tonnes.

There are some unspecified pre-conditions to the contract, however it appears the company should be able to handle that with no trouble.
