A number of key metal industry personnel are set to make keynote speeches at the 6th Annual Metal Matters summit. The summit, which will be held between March 2nd and March 4th, is the premier summit within the metal fabrications industry.
The presentations will include speeches on covering tactics, implementing business growth and operation improvement.
Keynote presentations will be delivered by Dan DiMicco, chairman, president and CEO of Nucor Corporation, the world’s largest recycler and steel producer in the United States, Emily DeRocco, president of The Manufacturing Institute and the new National Center for the American Workforce, and Mike Simpson, director of system operations for The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
Dan DiMicco is an especial boon for the summit, as he was recently named one of “The Best Performing CEOs in the World” by the Harvard Business Review.
Executive editor of The Fabricator, Dan Davis, commented “Dan DiMicco has emerged as a national figure in the movement to improve American manufacturing, and his message of promoting manufacturing in this country will surely leave conference attendees with an invigorated perspective to bring back to their respective organizations.”
