China to Increase Output

Great China Metal industry, who are one of Taiwan’s largest manufacturers of metal packaging for food and beverages, has announced that it will be investing around £15.5 million in a new production line that will see an increase in its metal products over the coming years.

The rise in demand in the Chinese market has prompted the company to expand its production facilities over the last few years. These changes, plus the recently announced plant, will see their output increase by 50% by 2012.

Am influx of orders has seen the company’s sales growth increase over the last few months, with a 12.37% year on year rise.

According to news.cens.com “The company`s principal activities are manufacturing and selling of metal containers and plastic bottles. Other activities include printing services for metal containers. Major product lines are aluminum cans, steel cans, DRD cans, general-purpose artistic and sanitation cans, various aluminum and tinplate can ends, PET bottles, stretch films, etc.”
