Data released by Statistics Finland recently has revealed that industrial production and new factory orders increased at a fast pace during the month of December.
According to RRT News “Overall industrial output increased a working-day adjusted 8.9% annually, faster than the upwardly-revised 7.8% growth in November. In October, growth in production was 11.4%, the biggest increase last year.”
The gain was led by a 25.1% increase in the metal mining and quarrying sector, coupled with an 11.6% growth in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning sector.
