Rise In Estonia Price Index

Estonia have announced a rise in their producer price index of industrial output of 5.4% when compared to December 2009. The price increases have been mostly put down to metal pressing and other metal industries in the country.

In addition, according to balticbusinessnews.com;

“By economic activity, producer price index of the manufacturing industry was up 5.9% in a year while that of energy supply increased 2.4% year on year.

“In December 2010 the export price index increased by 0.8% compared to November 2010 and by 8.4% compared to December of the previous year.

“In December 2010 the import price index increased by 2.7% compared to November 2010 and by 12.8% compared to December of the previous year.”
