In line with a general rise in the producer price index for Turkish industry in general, the metal and metal presswork industries have seen an increase, with a general rise over the last twelve months, including a rise between October 2010 and November 2010.

During November the PPI for the country’s domestic metal industry increased by 0.98% over October’s statistics, with an increase of 18.39% over the same period last year.

This is in line with a general increase in the PPI of the Turkish metal industry, which has seen an average increase of 16.37% over the last twelve months.

However the industry for domestic manufacture of metal products, including metal presswork and sheet metal work, saw a small rise of 0.06% over the month, despite an average decrease of 0.54% in that sector over the last twelve months.
